Ms. Patton’s experience includes the representation of both individuals and corporations in various aspects of motion, trial, and appellate practice. She has litigated lawsuits involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, and tort claims in her commercial practice. She has also defended employers against claims of discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongful termination, and wage and hour issues. Mr. Patton has represented clients in all stages of litigation. She has successfully drafted and argued dispositive motions and is well-versed in all aspects of discovery. In addition, she has experience as a member of trial teams for cases involving breach of contract, fraudulent transfer, breach of fiduciary duty, and negligence, among other claims. Ms. Patton graduated from Lewis & Clark Law School, where she was received honors for academic achievement and was named a Business Law Scholar. She also served as an associate editor of the Animal Law Review. Prior to law school, she received her business degree, with a second major in psychology, from the University of Wisconsin. There, she was a founding member and officer of the university’s first student group focused on sustainable business practices. Ms. Patton is admitted in both California and Oregon courts.
